What I do
With more than 30 years in the news business, I’ve spent my life at the center of the story. From the high-pressure corridors of Parliament Hill to five years as a foreign correspondent in Shanghai and Beijing, I have navigated the complexities of local, national, and international broadcasting.
My career has taken me to the front lines of military conflicts in the Balkans, Africa, and Asia. Those experiences taught me how to remain calm, think clearly, and communicate effectively when the stakes are at their highest.
Now, through Germain Issues, I put that award-winning experience to work for you.
How I Can Help
I understand exactly how newsrooms function and how journalists think. I use that “insider” knowledge to help you manage your relationship with the media and master your public presence:
Media Training & Crisis Intervention: I’ll show you how to protect your reputation and stay on message during even the toughest interviews.
Speechwriting & Executive Coaching: I work with CEOs and leaders to craft and deliver keynote addresses that resonate and inspire.
Expert Moderation: I bring the poise of a veteran broadcaster to your discussion panels, ensuring the conversation remains sharp, engaging, and professional.
A Commitment to Communication
In addition to my consultancy work, I am dedicated to shaping the next generation of voices. Having transitioned into education after my reporting career, I currently teach both high school and university students the art and discipline of communication.
Whether you are preparing for a major address or navigating a media storm, I am here to ensure your voice is heard—exactly the way you intended.
